Directions To Boliver/McFaddin Naturist Beach Area

 

 

 

Boliver/McFaddin Beach is located on Texas State owned land on the Bolivar Peninsula.  It is a remote location, quite private and has been frequented by Naturists for almost 20 years.

From Houston or Beaumont: Travel east on I-10 (or West if coming from Beaumont) to Texas 124 in the town of Winnie. Go south on 124 across the Intracoastal Waterway until 124 ends at Texas 87 past High Island. Highway 87 east toward Sabine Pass is closed to through traffic due to storm damage from 10 years ago and is in terrible shape. Turn left (east) on Highway 87, go around the barricades and travel 4.1 miles to the nude area. 4WD is usually Not required.  (Check The BUNS Website For Road Advisories) Any vehicle can drive on the graded high road along the fence line to reach the nude beach. 

From Galveston: Travel east on Hwy 87 from the Ferry until you see the barricades right before turning on to 124 to go to High Island. Go around barricade and travel 4.1 miles to the nude area.
